Call for Posters

POSTER ABSTRACT

Poster Presentation, as Invited Lectures, is an important part of the scientific program of SIPCD 2024. We cordially invite you to present your most recent exciting research work during the poster session, which provides a golden opportunity to discuss about your research with your peers as well as the pioneers in the fields.

The poster session is tentatively scheduled in the late afternoon of September 21, 2024. Wine and snacks will be served during the Poster Session.

Note: please prepare the abstract strictly according to the template Abstract template.doc and upload the file when you register, if you plan to present one poster in SIPCD 2024.

POSTER PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

Posters should be printed in high quality. Please note that informal posters will not be accepted. The poster session is scheduled in the late afternoon and early evening of September 21, 2024.

Poster Set-Up

A numbered panel will be allocated for each poster. Please make sure to put your poster at the right panel. A staff will help you on site with regard to poster panel number and fixing your poster before the poster session on September 21, 2024.

Poster Size

Please print your poster in 90 cm wide x 120 cm high. Ensure that your poster does not exceed this size.

Poster Layout

A mixture of text and graphics is recommended. The poster is better containing following sections: introduction, experimental (optional), results and discussion (including schemes and figures), conclusion, and references (optional). The abstract does not need to be presented.

Illustrations

Figures should be designed to be viewed from a distance and should use clear, visible graphics and large type. The scheme and figure should be numbered and contain a legend. The table should have a heading of one or two lines, additional essential information should be provided below in a legend. Photographs should have good contrast, sharp focus and, if necessary, an indication of scale.

Text

Minimize narrative. Use large type in short, separated paragraphs. Numbered or bulleted lists are effective ways to convey a series of points. Do not set entire paragraphs in uppercase or boldface type.

Titles and Fonts

Titles should be short and easy to read. Use large lettering as this means a number of people can read the poster from a distance without overcrowding.
